28 year wine. Drank with lamb. The wine was still very fresh with some complexity remaining. The nose was blackberry and leather. The finish was still long. I was worried the wine was long past due but we were all pleasantly surprised.

Drank with leg of lamb along with a 2001 Latour. Overshadowed by the Latour but the Haut-Brion was more subtle with a longer finish.

A true Amarone. Decanted for four hours. Very subtle nose. Alot of fruit on the taste. It got better as we drank it. Five bottles left. Will keep for years to come.

Excellent nose. Very jammy. Black berries and even some petroleum in the background. Lots of fruit in the mouth and the finish was very strong. This wine will get alot better in a few years.
