Excellent balance of everything, fruits, sweetness, bitterness, wood and spices. Very smooth and full, plush. Lots of fragrant blueberries and vivid raspberries, which is unusual. Cloves, pepper, vanilla, oak, sweet chocolate. The full contents of flavor overwhelm the otherwise overwhelming high level of alcohol, 16%. One of the most delicious red wines.

Aromas of pencil shavings, violets, smoke and chamomile. Extraordinary velvety tannins and elegant mouthfeel make this juice a joy to drink. Raspberry preserves, cassis, dark cherry, black currant, and anise. A lush balanced wine should stand tall for a while. 94 points.

I tried this on the recommendation of a store associate. It opens up beautifully and has a deep rich purple color. Well crafted, full bodied and balanced. Would go great with food. 13.5% alcohol. Paid $20
