Decanted for 2 hours the 2015 vintage, opened up nicely. Dark but clean ruby in colour. Distant on the nose. Medium body, sharp and clean on the palate. Although 15% alcohol, but not overpowering. The flavours and of fresh dark fruits, balanced acidity and complexity. I do think it might be worth waiting 3 to 4 more years. Luckily I have a few more bottles of this left.

Nose of cherry and tobacco. Medium body, complex palate of ripe red fruits, earthy spices, some caramel in the distance. Long delicious finish. We had it with chicken liver, it paired amazingly. Great Barolo!

Medium body, medium acidity, medium/high tannins. On the palate: hints of leather, plums, and black fruits. Medium/long sweet fruity finish. Not great for this price point, and definitely past its peak so should be had soon.

Refined and complex, deceptively light in colour, but has good depth and body, medium finish, ripe fruits, earthy spices and herbs. Had it with roast lamb and oven roasted vegetables, was amazing, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Confirmed, no pop! Only very gentle bubbles left in it. The wine is interesting though, a lot of earthy and yeasty hits. Straw colour. I can only imagine that this bottle was at its peak probably 5 -7 years ago. Was still very pleasant to drink.

We had the 2012 Valpolicella Classico Superiore with oven roasted lamb and potatoes. It paired amazingly well. The wine was sitting in a decanter 3 hours before. Definitely lives up to the expectations, lots of vanilla, liquorice and an array of dark fruits, powerfully full with balanced tannins. Very very good wine from a distinguished winemaker, easily amongst the best wineries of Valpolicella.

Amazing, this wine surprisingly aged very very well. Lots of almond and hints or coriander. Golden colour and medium palate. Very very good indeed.

I had this for new year eve dinner with foie gras, opened an hour earlier to breath. Pleasantly surprised with fresh acidity and structure, light hay colour, medium body, hints of citrus and berries, no oak or butter. Was really a good match and it might improve a little with a couple of years but surely not much longer left in this wine before it breaks down

Dark ruby color, it smells like blackberry, fig, chocolate and clove. Powerful and full bodied. On the palate, intense cloves and dark chocolate. Amazingly well done Amarone.

I would not buy sparkling torbato, stick to the normal table white - much better

Very pleasant, surprised the very dry conditions of where this wine comes from can produce such a delicate, complex and rounded palate. It lacks a finish though.

Well balanced, needs to air for at least 2 hours before it opens up. Rich berry with tobacco on the palate, a little sweet but sharp at the same time. Excellent value for money.

Nice and elegant Chardonnay, pale yellow colors, light to medium acidity, hits of citrus on the nose, apple and nuts on the palate. Overall very good wine - nothing outstanding, but a clean and elegant Bourgogne. Definitely needs to breath and warm up a little (30 minutes at room temperature)
