White
This may be the fruitiest wine we've ever tasted - an absolute parade of citrus, pineapple, banana, kiwi and on and on. Not sweet, but so fruity it almost fools you into thinking it is. Amazing. Drink now.

Red
Can't be certain from the taste that this is actually Cabernet - could be any generic red/blend from California.
Red
More of a generic Italian red.
Red
Impressive. Don't let the fun label and name fool you - this is a serious pinot. Bramble and just a hint of funk in the nose, lots of fruit on big, soft shoulders.
Red
Wonderful. Bottle says enjoy by 2035, but it seems fully mature now and it's hard to imagine it improving. Anyway, who could wait when it's this delicious?
Red
Great QPR. A sub-$10 Pinot that actually tastes like Pinot Noir.
Red
Wow. Hard to see how it could improve - smooth and graceful with tons of fruit over soft tannins. Lovely.
White
2022 Acquiesce Jolie Lodi Mokelumne River White Blend (view label images)
Wildly complex and incredibly juicy.
White
No doubt it is Viognier - the characteristic viscosity is undeniable. But we would not be surprised, given the flavors, to hear there is 10 percent or more Chardonnay blended in, though the label gives no indication of that.
White
We're always impressed by their red; this white blend is just as impressive. Mouthwatering and bursting with fruit.
Red
Probably the best Malbec we've had.
Red
Seems to hit all the right notes in the right balance.
Red
Not nearly as good as the 2021. Very reserved and closed down.
Red
Not sure I would call it a "Grand Cru" or a "Reserve" like the store does, but it's fine.

Overwhelming smell of bug spray. That faded after triple aeration and decanting, but it was still present in a wine that was harsh, tart and awful.
Red
If you like your oak with oak and maybe a little extra oak on top, this is for you. It seems like there's a good wine underneath all that hardwood, but it's tough to find, even after aeration.
Red
Outstanding. Huge structure, gobs of fruit, just enough oak - it hits all the right notes and they ring in harmony.
Red
Made from Valdeguié grapes. Complex and interesting.
White
Juicy, complex and wonderful.
White - Sparkling
Purchased in 2021, no telling how long it was on the shelf before that. Still, very impressive - the mousse is so fine you almost can't describe it as bubbles. All the flavors are fully integrated. Even after waiting too long to open it, this bottle was a wonder.

Red
Gorgeous. Pope and poured with aerator. Could have easily been mistaken for a very good Bordeaux, with hints of pencil shavings, menthol and cedar woven among the fruit. The signature taste of fresh blueberries didn't come out until the second glass, and with it came a touch of cream. Big wine, long finish, deep and complex.

Cork taint. Overpowering smell of mustiness and wet cardboard. Nearly wept while I poured it down the drain.
Rosé
Not as juicy as expected. It's good, but nothing special.
Red
By far the best Malbec we've ever had. An absolute fruit bomb with a long, oaky finish. Lush and powerful and huge and velvety all at once. Astounding.
Red
In a perfect place right now. Wow.

2022 Her Amandla Our Power Western Cape Shiraz Blend, Syrah (view label images)
Very fruity. No sign of the Zin that's in the blend.
Red
It's fine to drink, but it doesn't taste Spanish and it certainly doesn't taste like Cabernet. Could have been any generic red.
Red
A blockbuster of a wine. Everything a Zin should be: Up in your face with gobs of fruit on a massive structure, yet somehow velvety.
Red
Impressive. Maybe we hit the age exactly right, but this one seemed to hit all the buttons.
White
Everything we love about NZ Sauv Blancs, but smoother. Still lots of mouthwatering acids, they just somehow have softer edges here. Yum.
Red
Perfectly aged. Lots of sawdust that gives way to rich, dark fruit.
Red
Third of four bottles, each tasted a year apart. It's been amazing to see this wine mature, it still has at least a few years ahead of it. Surprisingly light in color for a Zinfandel, it's drinking more like a Sicilian - powder dry with a long finish of evolving dark and red fruits. It will be hard waiting another year for the last bottle.
White
Unmistakably Sauvignon Blanc, made in the New Zealand style, with mouthwatering acids, and juicy dragon fruit and green peppers under a pile of citrus.

White
This was wonderful. Super-fruity with mouth-watering acids. Great with food, juicy enough to drink on its own.

N.V. Penfolds Club Tawny South Australia Red Blend (view label images)
Amazing QPR. Tons of cola layered over toffee and caramel.
White
Excellent. Big shouldered, but light on its feet. Even better with food.
Red
We've consistently been impressed by Shannon Ridge, whatever we've had.
Red
What a disappointment. With all the hype and the price, we expected a classic California Cab, but all we got was a generic red. Not even sure this was Cab, honestly.
Red
Oh, wow. This somehow has all the benefits of aging and none of the downsides - pouring from the bottle it looks like it could be a 2022. No bricking or raisin-ing at all. Just a massive wine made soft and graceful, with plenty of sawdust. Amazing.

2017 Department 66 Others Côtes Catalanes Grenache Blend, Grenache (view label images)
Love this. A steal at the price.
Red
Outstanding. Big and rich and smooth and graceful with gobs of fruit and textured tannins. Love it.
White
2022 Malda Txakoli Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Zuri (view label images)
Best with food.
Red
What a disappointment. So light in body it appeared to be a Pinot Noir when pouring. Simple and uninteresting.
Red - Fortified
Surprisingly ruby for its age. Very sweet, but not overly so, well balanced.
