Remarkably fresh, and great acidity, for a wine 21y old. Earth, strawberry, leather, vanilla, long finish, but lacks complexity.
Can age easily another 5-10y. 90p

update : after 1h in the glass, extra layers of fruit are hitting the palate. This is pure finesse! 92 points

Top Barolo of a Top Vintage! Giovanni Manzone produces consistently great barolos for very affordable prices. Very hard to find better QPR in the Barolo.
This Castelletto 2010 is full of graceful flower power, licorice, red fruit, earth notes, on a still pretty firm tannic backbone, so some years of cellaring will only enhance the already fantastic experience. Traditional Barolo with a touch of modernism

Enjoyed this white with my pasta salmone. Citric fruit, some vanilla, good acidity and pretty well balanced. Good QPR
