Lovely and much bigger and fruit forward than expected.... secondary flavors coming through cedar and graphite but still plenty of life left.

A baby..... this has all the makings of a fantastic Brunate.... chalky tannins and simply not ready to give up the goods yet.... This will turn into a phenomenal bottle of juice but give it time.
Today, young, red fruit, chalky tannins with hints of eucalyptus and red cherry. I have high hopes it will develop with time and turn well into the 95+ range. Today a 92

Is this even Sancerre!?!? Yes it is, but not your normal clean and crisp Sancerre. Released at +/- 4 years (current vintage is 2012 in 2018) definitely some oak, round, soft acidity.... and absolutely delicious! Pairing and expectation wise much more like a (do I dare say) Burgundy? I would recommend, try it and see if you love it as much as we did. Tasted with 4 in Verdigny France loved it although not your "typical" Sancerre. Cheers!

At 26 yes old out of double mag.... simply fantastic. Expectation was 50-50 but she was beautiful, elegant and lingered for minutes in the tong.... barely a tannin left but we were all beyond surprised how great this wine is at 26 yrs old. Simply fantastic.

Drink on up, I certainly enjoyed it. Secondary flavors are coming out, cedar/cigar box vs. fruit are really dominant. Maybe past its prime but btls were kept in cellar @ 55f and definately drinking well, more east bank Bordeaux than 5+ years ago. Don't wait, drink on up but a great fun 12 yr merlot.

Was a great little Cab back in the day.... has seen its bests and is going down hill. Drink on up!!

Bone dry, fruit is practically gone and replaced with tar, leather and some herbaciousness. Not bad at all and we still enjoyed drinking it tonight but wish we did a couple of years ago.

Still hot from the alcohol... even 10 yrs later.... PNP...... Plenty of fruit left, tannins nice and soft, definitely getting there, if not passing her peak.... bought it at the winery after one of the best wine blending seminars in my life.. a must do in Napa!
