First bottle that I’ve opened since trying at the vineyard. After a 90 minute decant, this wine was humming. Fragrant nose of red fruit and a hint of minerality. A bit hot but not overwhelming. Notes of cranberries and raspberries. Very bright. More impressive than past vintages.

Very average to slightly below average for the price point. Nose has a nice vegetal note that I like but it’s a simple wine with a fairly short finish. Dark fruits come second to the leather, earthy, tobacco character. This is the style of Cabernet that I typically like but this one just didn’t do it for me.

Dark purple in color. Odd nose at first, but opened up quickly. Ripe red and black fruit, cassis, baking spice, bell pepper, Big chewy tannins. An excellent wine for the money. Offers a lot at the $50 price point. Lingering finish

This was a hot mess when opened, but improved drastically after an hr. Notes of black fruit, minerals and spice. Medium bodied, dark red in color. Great left bank wine for the price point.

Body is on the light side of medium. Brick red in color. Red fruit and black pepper on the nose. Licorice, fresh picked cherries and peppery spice on the palate. Short finish. Decent wine for $30.

Lighter bodied, notes of tobacco, cherry, raspberry and hints of pepper. Doesn’t taste like a merlot. Not worth the price tag.

Really young and tight. I love Heitz, but my first 2013 isn’t showing great. Burgundy in color, relatively thin, dark berries. Lacks the minerality of past vintages. I’m sure this will improve. Revisit in a year.

Big dark fruit, luscious tannins, dark garnet in color, medium to full bodied, leather and tobacco. Showing well after 1 hr decant. Will revisit in a few years. Drank from 375 ml

I had very low expectations for this and viewed it as a promotional bottle for the first installment of Gary Vee wine club. It’s a great banquet wine. It’s a crowd pleaser for those who are not wine geeks. Cherry, cranberry and red fruit on the nose. Light body, bright red in color. I wouldn’t buy this for normal consumption, but it’s far better than many of the wines it is competing with around $20. Good value. 85 pts

Classic Bordeaux, pencil lead, spice, bell pepper and subdued dark berries. Still young, yet showing well.

PNP at restaurant. I was fighting a cold, so my senses weren’t the best. For that reason, I’m going to avoid leaving too many tasting notes. Young (way too young to be drinking) fruit forward, dark fruit, medium to full bodied, some minerality on the finish. Fruitier than I remember past vintages being. This is most likely due to the age of the wine. I’m going to grab a few bottles to lay down for the future. Solid produced that will never let you down.

Much better than newer vintages. Jammy, fruit forward Wagner juice. Very overhyped IMO, but a gorgeous bottle. This is a style of Pinot that will please fruit forward can drinkers. Consumed from a magnum. Cherry and raspberries, medium bodied, dark purple color. Could easily pass as something other than pinot.

I enjoy this wine more every time that I have it. Subdued dark fruit, pencil lead, baking spice, earth and eucalyptus. A delightful old style Napa can.

Nothing wrong this bottle, if you like fruit forward, Big Napa Cabs. I prefer more traditional style Napa Cabs, so this wasn’t for me. Medium to full bodied, chewy tannins, dark berries and tobacco on the nose. Decent wine, just wasn’t for me. Laying my other bottle down to try in a few years.

Dark red, medium tannins, lingering finish. I liked this bottle much more than my last. Ripe cherry notes, but far from a fruit bomb. Excited to see how this progresses.

Cherry, tobacco, leather, earthy tones. PNP Wine is young but already drinking incredible. Medium bodied, soft tannins. Quality wine as expected. Planning on buying a few to cellar.

Typically Wagner fruit bomb. Overextracted to the extreme. Vanilla and dark cherry on the nose. Extremely disappointed that this is our new "premium" by the glass cab at our country club. It's $20 wine with a $40- $45 price tag. It's a cab that Bella Glos Pinot lovers will enjoy. Not my cup of tea.

Dark ruby in color, yet medium bodied. Smooth tannins. Dark berries and tobacco. Really improved after two hour decant. Excellent wine from a less than stellar vintage. I feel this may still have 5 years of peak drinking. I will open one next year and my last bottle in 2020.

Overoaked, butter Chardonnay. Typical $15 California Chardonnay. Medium yellow in color, higher alcohol, unbalanced acidity.

Fruit bomb! Lost of vanilla and cherry. Lighter bodied cab that lacks complexity. Not bad for the price, but nothing special. Ordered by the glass at hotel bar. It was a new bottle, so I can't attest to profile after a decant.

Very boozy and hot on the finish. Didn't change much after two hours. Jammy fruit and booze. Don't wait to drink.
