7/29/19, 1:50 PM - I have read several of your comment/reviews and very much like your style. I was lucky enough to to win 5 bottles of the 2007 for the unbelievable price of $46/bottle. I have immensely enjoyed the first three and based on your review am going to drink my fourth tonight. Thanks!
4/4/19, 10:41 AM - I found this got better after it had been opened for about an hour and left on the counter so it warmed up a bit. I agree that it was not the Hunter but it was getting sort of close after that hour.
11/29/18, 5:42 PM - Unfortunately you got a bad bottle.
11/16/18, 10:42 AM - Did you buy any of the 2002 Robert Hunter Brut de Noirs Extended Tirage that they were selling last year?
7/4/18, 1:38 PM - I always deduct 6 to 7 points from Decanter's ratings.
6/4/18, 10:13 AM - If I were you I'd get out of that wine club ASAP! Gary has become a shadow of himself since the days of WLTV unfortunately. This is solely designed to generate income for WL. I was a daily watcher and commenter of WLTV. and it saddens me that he has been reduced to being a shill for his family's store.
9/8/17, 10:28 AM - I have found that over the years this becomes much better at the 7-year mark. Consistently over performs for it's price IMO.
12/2/16, 9:27 AM - You got a bad bottle. Mine have not been anything like that.
11/8/16, 1:57 PM - I just opened a bottle and it's easily drinking at twice it's WTSO price. I see no evidence of decline. Perhaps you had a bad bottle or one that was in a dead phase. If you have more try another.
10/1/16, 6:47 AM - KBs are not meant to be 10-year wines and are certainly not for Burgundy lovers. If you like California sunshine pinots and you drink them in a 3 to 7 year window they are delicious.
5/26/16, 5:16 AM - 4 comments within this time period are worthless. The wine has had no time to do anything and Coravining a $35 bottle is pretty close to insanity.
4/29/16, 3:06 PM - They do if you know what to buy.
4/24/16, 9:14 AM - When you find this to be the case (too young and green) wouldn't it be advisable to simply note that and perhaps give a future drinking widow than to give it a score. What is your estimate of what this wine will be when it's ready to drink?
9/17/15, 1:30 PM - Amazing how different palates can be. I didn't find this flabby at all and way less jammy than a number of Aussie shiraz can be. My main complaint wuld probably that it, like many, is a little heavy on the oak.
3/8/15, 6:02 PM - 3 reviews and scores in 3 weeks is ridiculous. 3 in 3 years helpful.
7/20/14, 6:09 PM - It's a screw cap so it can't be corked.
4/1/14, 10:56 AM - Interesting as I have one of each still in my racks.
3/27/14, 1:15 PM - I feel your pain ;-)
3/28/14, 1:22 PM - KC (I'm assuming that means Kansas City although I haven't devined whether it's Kansas or Missouri ;-) did you used to watch Gary Vaynerchuk on WLTV when he had his video blog?
3/29/14, 10:49 AM - He stopped doing the wine videos a few years ago and a bunch of us frequent commenters started a discussion (banter) group on Facebook called Facebook Vayniacs. We (AndersN, lisaS, Castello, Cellarrat 5, NWIDan, Dominus etc.) talk about the wines we're drinking and make fun of each other (except me because I have been dubbed King and I can't let them foment revolution ;-) Look us over and if you'd like to join just put a request in. Cheers!
3/28/14, 9:31 AM - Totally agree!
5/22/13, 4:57 PM - Totally agree but we're fighting a losing battle with the 'instant gratification' generation ;-)
6/9/13, 7:36 AM - SonnyJay, if the restaurant bought wine the right way they wouldn't have to. It's very possible (I do it all the time) to buy aged wine at very attractive prices that's ready to drink. If you do your homework you get rewarded :-)
4/3/13, 2:09 PM - I agree that you should have waited. What I don't agree with is your scoring a wine negatively after just admitting YOU made the mistake.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
