Second (and last) bottle of this. Hard to rate it. Probably a very nice underlying wine but (both bottles) have been very fizzy and that really gets in the way of enjoying whatever else is there. Faulty or intended to be like this? No idea. Not for me.

Still going strong. I was worried when I last had a couple of bottles as it felt as if it had a little excess acidity but this bottle was excellent. Strong tannins and excellent balance, will keep it going for quite a lot longer. Decanted for >2 hours. Was voted wine of the night. Difficult to believe that it was bought exactly 10 years ago at £18 a bottle (in bond)...

Very good Sangiovese-based blend. I expected however the CS to give it a little more body. Good to drink now.

Excellent wine, drinking very well now. I expected more body but very good nevertheless.

I've had a few bottles of this by now. Would have rated it higher but some excess acidity that I've picked up in the last two bottles. Better when decanted for a couple of hours, still better on the second day.

Typical Amarone but still young. Better on the second day.

Slightly light but beautifully made wine. Relatively light in all aspects (colour, body, alcohol) but balanced with great colour and good nose. Berries and soft spices. I had it with Asian (not spicy) food and was a very good match. Good price for this quality.

Bordeaux in style. Drinks well but has further to go. Had with ribeye steak, very good match.
