This is the second bottle and its better than the first, a bit of age helped I guess. Cherries and oak. Earthy. But still a medicinal after taste, maybe too much oak. Pair with a Mushroom or other earthy dish.

Nose with honey suckle. Pallet has Mellon’s, wet stone and little oak on the back. Great minerality. This is one Chard that you can pair with Thai or Indian.

Deep garnet color. Not much of a nose. Dark fruits and acidity on the pallet. Light texture. Somehow feels like the wine might be still fermenting in the bottle.Not to a full extent (no fizz) but thats the taste profile. 2017 drinking early 2020.

Still young. Decant an hour if drinking before 2022. Very structured on the front with Oak & leather. Mid pallet has berries and starts to fade. Not a long finish. Age will certainly round it out. Pair with food to bring out its best.

Bottle 1 of 12-01/2020: High to Mid Shoulder. The wine seemed on its edge but was still excellent. Acidic with more Can Franc type pallet than the Cab Sav used. But still an expressive nose and great pallet. Looking forward to other bottels in the case as they were mid neck

2019- Before decanting: intense pallet with graphite and tannins. Unforgiving.

After Decanting for 2 hrs- The nose is a bouquet of dark fruits and spice. Dark garnet color. The pallet is really tight with a spicy finish. Long mouth.
