Highly extracted, predominantly bramble fruits on the nose and palette. Silky texture and adequate tannins, with a touch of bitterness on the back end.

All floral on the nose - on the palette, violets and cherry with a little black pepper. Medium tannins, medium acidity.

Lots of red and black fruit up front, not much in the way of acidity, with relatively little tannic structure. This is an immediately approachable wine, which will also probably benefit from a few years in the cellar to allow some of the over-the-top fruit to settle down.
White - Sparkling

Nice and refreshing, but would never be mistaken for a champagne. Tons of yeasty flavors, but more reminiscent of beer than brioche. Apple and pear on the nose and palate, with plenty of bubbles.

Prune and barnyard on the nose. On the palette, the fruit is essentially nonexistent. Slightly floral, with hints of soy sauce or hoisin - still has great structure. Will wait another year for the next bottle to see how this develops.
Rosé - Sparkling

Great entry level rose champagne. Lots of yeasty notes, with hints of strawberry, with a nice acidic backbone

On the first day, this was a very interesting wine - Tasted like a sauternes, but totally dry. On the second day, it was completely dead - almost undrinkable, with a taste of bandages. I'll have to make sure to finish the bottle in one go next time.

Pure cranberry on the palette, with the 1/3 pinot adding a touch of structure. Didn't get any barnyard funk in my bottle. This benefits from a bit of a chill.

Melon and lemon on the nose and palate. Gives the perception of licking a river rock, and with a touch of creaminess the mouthfeel has a layered aspect.

Very tart, strawberries on the nose. Did well with a bit of a chill. Not too complex - a nice summer chugger.
Rosé - Sparkling

Fairly dark pink, lots of yeast and strawberry on the nose. Tastes of strawberry, a bit of unripe peach, and freshly baked bread. The strawberry was pronounced when served chilled, but the other flavors came off a bit muted until the wine warmed a little. Nice, fairly basic rose champagne.

Tons of ripe fruit up front, still a bit of RS even fermented to 15.3% abv. Thick mouthfeel, likely due to the sweetness. Seems like this could use some time in the cellar to let the fruit calm down, but it's not clear the tannins are there to support aging

On the light side of roses - easy drinking, nothing too complex. Probably not great QPR at $28

Nose of strawberry, orange peel, and a slight herbaceousness. Tastes of the same, plus a touch of watermelon.

Pure red fruit, both in aroma and taste. No discernible tannins, low acidity. Fresh and vibrant, meant to be enjoyed ASAP. Not cheap for a BV, but probably the highest expression of the appellation out there.

Nose of stewed cherries and plums. Taste confirms the nose, with a slightly reductive vintage port quality. Not much remaining in the way of perceivable tannins, and low acidity. Good, but probably on the downward trend - would drink up any remaining bottles in the next couple years.

Deep purple in color, aroma of flowers with significant acetone note. Taste confirms the nose, plus a bit of stewed red fruits. This has a surprisingly thin mouthfeel. Overall, it's hard to tell if this bottle has a touch of VA, or if it's just not very tasty.
