Delicious dark red fruit flavors with a hint of spice. Enjoyed my single bottle, found in a mixed case of single bottles when reorganizing the cellar. A nice treat with weekday dinner. Unexpected after all of these years! (Making tasting note public so a former cellar-mate of my late husband will know I am making progress! ;- )

Found two bottles of this in a carton of miscellaneous wines in the cellar. Pleasantly surprised at the quality when I had it with dinner of eggplant Parmesan. What fun to read Jon Rimmerman’s effusive notes when Garagiste first offered it for sale; time has proved his enthusiasm was well-placed. A pleasurable Loire red that has more than stood the test of time. Glad I still have another bottle.

Was skeptical given some negative reviews. But pleasantly surprised. A lovely mature Chardonnay. Luscious fruit and smooth, rounded mouth-feel. Enjoyed it over the course of three evenings and it held its charm. Gina Gallo, thank you for your artistry ;-)

Just right with pizza on a Monday night with a neighbor. Though I decanted based on other reviews that mentioned sediment, I didn't find much sediment.

This beautiful wine catapulted my modest bowl of chile sin carne into a special weekday meal. Very special. Glad I’ve got five bottle left, as I’m looking forward to a long-term relationship with Mme. Malescot. Update: My modest dessert, a few black Sphinx dates, brought out the dusty berry flavor and full mouth-feel of the wine.
