This was amazing. Tannins were well still present but were smooth and mellow. Nose is of leather but it’s used leather.

This was great. Drank from 1.5L. Lots of red fruit notes. Smooth tannins. Probably could sit another year or two but thus is in a great spot.

I let this breathe for about 3 hours without a taste. It was lush, leather and chocolate is what it somewhat reminded me of. Black fruit with soft tannins. I paired with butter poached lobster, risotto with saffron, mushrooms and summer squash. Went very, very well.

Needs time! Opened, left open and drunk over the course of about 4 hours. After the 4 hour point did it start to taste like the CDP I know. Right now it’s tight, and hot. If you must open now, give it plenty of time to breathe.
