Wine guzzler since 1970. Started with Cal Cabs, went on to Rhone, Alsace, Burgundy and Chablis and am currently into Sonoma and Central Coast (mostly Sta Rita) Pinot. I enjoy everything about Burgundy except the bottle prices. Alas, much the same could be said for the top Bordeaux & Rhone wines now, not to mention high end Napa Cabs. Degree in Fermentation Science but that did little to further my appreciation of wine. I have one bottle of my dream wine in my cellar but can't afford to drink it! Thankfully, I had a taste of it when it was young...
PS - That's a 1/2 Bottle of 66 d'Yquem in the photo... I also have a sweet tooth on occasion...
