The fruit notes are predominant in a good way. Acid balances it out without being excessively dominant. Don’t think that is one to hold for another decade. It’s in a good place now for a good while. Exceeded my expectations.

Pronounced fruit forward on palate with mellow tannins. Mid to front palate that’s not dominated by acid. Seems to be in its optimal drinking window.

Purple. Slight acidic and still fruit forward. More mid palate than other cabs. Don’t think it’ll get better with time. Pop and pour ready.

On its last legs. Sugar is more of the predominant note than intended at this point. Still has nice cab essence but drinks much more like a port rather than the prime late harvest cab or yester-year. Wish that another vineyard would figure out how to make this type of wine. So unique. Still enjoyable but won’t improve with time.

Herby. Dry. Good mouth feel/texture. Mellow tannins. Complex flavors that change ever so slightly sipping over an hour or so. Very enjoyable.

Probably past peak but was pleasant. Fruit was weaker than typical cab, tannin soft. Enough texture and overall balance to be enjoyed. Think it’s an example that it’s better to have a Bordeaux variety just past peak than way too early.
