Very mellow and smooth. Not a BIG wine but not meek, we had it along with a Carlisle Syrah and the Turley showed much bolder in comparision. Pretty tight on opening but mellowed out over time. Drank over 6 hours and was smoother as we went

Popped and poured . Very Fresh with Strawberry but not very hearty on the Syrah side. Nice contrast against a Turley PS.

Fully integrated, very drinkable from intial pour. I can see why someone said like a highend Juvy. I think this is not the most distinct PS Turley has produced but it is an intersting examole of a legendary vineyard at 19 years old,. Fruit is still present but not pronounced as in other Turleys to say there was a isolated, berry or fruit. However there is a hint of fruit and age that lends itself to a very drinkable aged wine. Drink now, no reason to hold

Solid, starting to show the end of life. A bit of Tar/menthol, resolved Tannins and full integration. Overall a good drink with saute beef , veggies and pasta.

Decanted for 2.5 hours. Just a beautiful drinking wine right now. A little syrah funk on opening that lingered but decreased over the decant. Berries, Purope fruit like plum. Whatever tannins existed before have resolved themelves. A really great Saxum GSM.

1 hour decant. Very juicy but not overly fruity for a Carlisle. More mineral and slight earth in our opinion. Very full flavor with full integration no Syrah funk or tannin. Drank along g a 2005 Agartha and the differences were clear and impressive in regards to each other. Drink now, hold till next year if you must but I don't think it's getting any better with time

I agree with the others below. Decant both for sediment and to get this wine to open up and see where it really is now. The timeline here probably needs 1-2 more years. Still biting on the end but fruit is very present upfront and Syrah funkiness abounds. Had along side a 07 Carlisle James Berry Syrah and it held it's own in quality as well as unique taste. Drink this winter with a long decant of 2 hours or so, or hold 12-24 months

A fine spot for a wine that is supposed to be at the end of it's drinking window. We opened and let breath for about an hour. Muted fruit initally but a nice lush mouth feel. In the glass blueberry showed first and then plums and raspberry. Overall a terrific wine that went well with grilled waygu burgers. I think this wine will hold on for a bit longer but I am not sure it will develop much more in the bottle so drink up

Flat bottom decant for two hours really singing, Not overpowering in mouthfeel as some Saxums can do , this wine has aged nicely and was a beautiful pairing for a Roasted Chicken, emphasizing the spices of the chicken's seasoning. THiswine will contiunue to softenbeautifully and can be enjoyed now or inthe next few years.

Audouze for 1-2 hours. Drinking very nice now, tannisn have resolved, slight hint of cedar oninitial taste but overall a softer wine. Paired with American Wagyu Meatballs and balanced the sweet ness of the meat nicely. HIghly reccomend to drink now

Full flat bottom decant and its needed. Decant for two hours and while it was open it certainly changed more in the next two hours. This is not bricking in our case but I can see it happening in unique circumstances as the wine is certainly at the age you need to drink. Not sure the 14.3 is accurate but we enjoyed with grilled NY Strip and butternut squash from our backyard

Low end of extraordinary. Opened at 11 am and seemed tight. Let Audolize (sp?) For7 hours and wow opened up beautifully. Paired with grilled NY.strip and it worked great. The only reason the score is not higher is the wine seemed too young. While the fruit was beautiful and tannins were resolved the wine was still a little tight. Drink this winter or hold

Wine is drinking beautifully. Smooth with great integration, resolved tannins if there ever was any. Rich fruit with a hint of leather on the finish. Many have said this can age and it likely can, but I do not see any reason to wait.

No Iron like taste that the first bottle showed. Gave it a short airing out, drank away, it was prety ripe with a full mouth feel. Held its own with New York strips and local Oyster mushrooms

Drink now thru the winter if you are still holding

Opened for 1 hr+. Bright cherries in the mouth with a nose more of strawberries and youthful exuberence abound. Very fresh but enough bite to pair with a grilled ribeye. As usual with Loring, we got to the bottom of the bottle and wanted just a little more.
Damn you BLor.
Hold unless you are looking for a youthful Pinot and then drink now through the rest of fall

Two hour decant. Killed with rib eye, mushrooms and mashed potates. Upon opening the Iron like Syrah characteristics were too prevelant so into the decanter it went. Ver integrated with time, no tannin, the mouvedre and the carignane came thorugh after the decant and made softness that really paired well witht he creaminess of the mashed potatoes

Insane golden hue. Like others below I was concerned of the cork but a quci cheese cloth strain into a small decanter and we were good to go. Mango, lemon, a little goldenrod. Paired beatuifully with raw oysters and large shrimp ( not cocktail sauce though) . Drink for an epic white or hold altough I am not sure how much more aging is going to occur
