Not the best Lust year. But respectable. Fruit forward lil harsh on finish. Maybe need a year or two more in bottle. At this price, not sure I would buy more.

Might be at the beginning of the "end" of the best of this wine's potential. It was good but I think I tasted a tint of oxidation & metallic tinge. Definitely drink now!!

Paired perfectly with pork rib roast and roasted garlic potatoes. This wine is awesome. Best red under $75 there is. The 2005 I think is right up there with the proprietary red. From pahlmeyera, the same year. Highly recommend this wine.

Phenomenal wine. Paired well with grilled sturgeon and Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend this year. A liTtle smokey up front with fruit and coffee on the back end . We let it decant for about an hour. Opened up very well. Holds its complexity throughout. The finish is the highlight. Just a really classic wine.

Expected to be perfect w/turkey, but disappointing. Tasted a bit alcoholic and sharp. Definitely a let down from what is normally expected from Merryvale wines. Hopefully it was just this bottle and not the norm for this vintage and varietal of Merryvale's.

Showed better when we tasted it than now, almost two years later. Still a nice wine--a little earthier than our liking but we love Adalaida pinots so we are more forgiving than we normally would be.

Just as expected--perfect, decadent, impressive and delicious. Merryvale never can go wrong with their Profile--whatever year it is. As good as this was at a 2006, it still could have had several more years in the bottle and still been just as enjoyable.

As always with "Lust", it was smooth, velveety, and one of the best zins I've had. This zin seems more like a juicy, fruity and decadent dessert than just a zinfandel. While it definitely had the fruit and spice known in zins, it is so much more interesting and layered in flavors than its fellow zins that are out there. I loved the '05 and the '06 is just as great.

wine of the night at the cheese pairing. Another great 4 Vines wine. Veyr fruit forward nose, with a smooth finish. Cherry, fig and tobabcco dominate. Slight dark chocolate and blueberry on the finish. Love it!

Brillamt color and aroma. An amazingly smooth finish. The second bottle in a year or 2 will be even better. PAired well with wild bison patty melts. brought out the protein in the meat. highly recommended. they may not be doing the Vineyard X anymore, grab it if you can.

Excellant viognier; much different than the typical viognier. Fruitier, very pleasant finish with hints of apricot. Paired well w/pre-dinner appetizers like stuffed mushrooms. Great wine to drink alone, too. I'm not a huge fan of viogniers normally, but this is one of my very favorites. Findleton makes a very approachable and easy to drink version.

Not too bad for a screwcap wine from South Dakota. Not awesome, but certainly not awful. Drinkable on an average night but certainly not for a special occasion. Open a Pahlmeyer on those nights!
