Chocolate and dark fruit, firm tannins, complex with a long finish. Not quite ready yet, another 3-5 years, I think.

Nice Zin mix. A little lean, might have needed a bit more time.

Good, complex with large fruit flavors. The oak was very present in the nose. Needs a bit more time

Fruity, no backbone. Boring.
Might have been way to young to drink.

Nice! Fruit wasn't overpowering, nice complex flavors of dark fruit, spice, and tobacco. Medium finish, got better as the night progressed. Just as good the next day, but spicier. Surprisingly, given it's high alcohol content, it doesn't taste hot at all.

Chocolate, dark currents and snuff. Long follow. Red, no bricking. Tannins are still very present. Could easily go for a few more years. This is delicious!

Raisins, plums, walnuts and a hint of prunes in this wonderful Madeira. The scent fills the room as soon as it is open. Pouring it into the glass you notice the crystal clear golden brown color with hints of red. You swirl and smell, noticing the raisins and the walnuts. You take a sip, the flavors of raisins and plums fills the front of your mouth, not too sweet. You swish and swallow, the walnuts taking over in the back of the mouth. The taste lingers…. You repeat.

Excellent Bottle!
Opened and let sit 1 hour. The color was dark red with hints of purple, no bricking. The intoxicating aroma was of Sweet cherries, dark fruit and hints of sage. It tasted of Mulberries, thyme, cassis and spicy tobacco. It was a medium to heavy wine with a moderately long follow. The tannins are firm but not drying.

Has not reached it's peak yet (but close).

Upon pouring into the glasses, the aromas of blueberry, cherry, tar, and tobacco filled the room. All wrapped up in that heavenly unmistakable Dry Creek Valley zinfandel scent. The Blueberries, tar and tobacco carried through in the mouth to be met by firm, but not harsh, tannins. After being open for about 30 min black pepper showed up in the nose and mouth. Long finish and a dark purple red. What a surprisingly good bottle of wine.

Brambly, dusty, almost intoxicating nose. After decanting the nose seemed to take on a sweet cherry essence. The body is a bit lean, but other than that quite enjoyable. Dusty red fruit with nice complexity and an olmost oily mouthfeel. Short, spicy finish. Very good!

Pencil and black fruit nose.... A sour/tart cherry and dark berry fruit burst in the mouth followed by nice, firm, smooth tannins with a decent finish. Should have bought more of this when I was last there.

Good solid wine. Lots of fruit, decent complexity. Had a good bit of tannins, but not to intense. Improved throughout the evening.

Cassis and brambly fruit. Fullbodied with a decent finish. Red through and through, no bricking. I think it is at it's peak, will hold for a few years.
