February 5, 2021 - Breuer online Tasting with Theresa Breuer: Glass: Zalto Universal
Online tasting. 100ml bottle filled from Magnum bought at release and perfectly stored. Drunk two and three days later.
Clear, youthful pale golden color. Clean, medium developing nose with lots of fine fruit, very floral, some blossoms, herbs, lots of crushed stones. Deep and dense.
Dry, high acidity. Fine white fruit, herbs, zests and a great mineral core. Very elegant, great pressure , tension and balance. Beautiful texture. Very long and mouth-coating with a great mineral finish. Still young and with a bright future ahead. A beast in the making! 93-94++1 person found this helpful Comment -

December 12, 2020 - Third bottle from a half case purchased at the estate in 2010. This is my 26th tasting note for the 2009 vintage at Georg Breuer and a clear picture is starting to emerge. The wines are not nearly as broad and ripe as you would expect from such a warm year. On the contrary, they are and were quite angular and lean, sometimes enigmatic, with a dusty minerality noted on many occasions. They needed time (and the Schlossberg still does). At 11 years of age, this Nonnenberg is starting to show very well, crystalline and precise, transparent and elegant, with flavours of citrus and peach, elderflower and spices, an energetic and flowing palate, and a long and layered finish. Very elegant. Will last for another 5-7 years with ease.

September 12, 2020 - Georg Breuer - Vertical Riesling Nonnenberg 2001,2006-2018 + X (@Private location): *** brief note from vertical tasting ***
Glass: Gabriel Standard
Popped and poured. Clear, pale golden color. Beautiful flight and I preferred the 2009 vintage. Nose with lots of lime, zests, herbs, floral and mineral notes. So beautiful and complex.
On the palate lots of ripe fruit packed in a vibrant and very energetic wine. Lots of pressure and length. 94 -

September 16, 2019 - Horizontal tasting of the27 best 2009 German Dry Rieslings; 9/16/2019-9/26/2019 (Concept Resling 14.09.2019): semiblind
Till that it was the strongest wine of the evening. I guessed Keller Morstein. Juicy, exotic fruits, dense, Saline, balnced. In the end some spicy notes like passionfruits with 5 spicy powder as I know from Hawaii. Suprise it was Breuer. Stronger than Schloßberg today. Not at his end. 5.7 years ahead. 95
