A couple of additional thoughts from my POV:

I'll go out on a limb and say this is the best Corton-Charlemagne I've ever had. It just blew me away.

December 2, 2020 - M&PD Zoom Tasting: Burgundy & Barolo (Zoom): Wow, just wow. So aromatically rich. Flint and snap on the nose. Palate screams of lime zest, salt and great acidity. As Mark says, "as good as it gets."

December 20, 2019 - Holiday Burgundy Lunch (Scottsdale, AZ): Served blind. Smoky, reduced, flinty, with a hint of burnt popcorn on the nose. The reduction led me to Coche or D'Auvenay, but the mouthfeel was more akin to the former. In the glass this seemed to get smokier and smokier, almost a campfire.

Finish was pristine, salty and fruity, with minerals and tremendous length. As it warmed in the glass, more citrus emerged, and almost Meursault like lemon. In the final analysis, a great wine, very complex, and clearly with a long life ahead of it.

January 20, 2017 - 99W/91R. Single blind with 99 Leflaive Chevy and 99 Leflaive Batard. Very sweet white flower nose, also pear fruit aromatics and very slight gunflint. Much higher acidity and underperformed rest of flight. Shorter than expected.

August 11, 2016 - Served blind. Mistook for Coche-Dury as it seemed to show very similar trademarks.
An absolutely incredible experience. Nose evolved through the evening.
