April 30, 2023 - Ex-domaine late release. Needs a bit of air in the glass to reveal textbook Chambolle elegance, sweet dark fruits with silky texture

April 30, 2023 - Casual Sunday Dinner?: Ex-domaine late release wax capsule, decanted to remove the musk at the opening. Elegant textbook Chambolle, vibrant dark fruit, meaty, chewy. 93-94

December 7, 2021 - Amazingly beautiful wine. Still young and fresh but showing some lovely Chambolle 'secondary' characteristics. Color was still vibrant, nose was explosive with dark dusty red cherry, tar and warm spices. Palate was just where it should be and just a joy to drink. Too bad I had to share with more than one complete douche-nozzle. Otherwise fantastic!

May 23, 2019 - Enjoyed with friends at dinner party. Decant enabled the wine to begin to show its best traits. Pretty strawberry pastille and cherry alongside floral overtones, all on a balanced, hyper-elegant palate. Sipping on a cloud.

March 3, 2018 - La Paulée de San Francisco - Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Small glass, brief note. Spice start with fresh and dried red cherry. Very good balance and length, moderate weight. Some others really enjoyed this wine, while I was less enthralled.
