March 6, 2020 - La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting, in 12/08/06 vertical. Ripe red cherry and berry with licorice, allspice and clove. Ripeness well balanced with very bright textures, especially on long finish. Slightly brooding today in the middle, better 2024 forward, 93-94 point potential.

March 21, 2017 - Lovely color. The nose is lush and aromatic; showing fragrant scents of ripe berries, flowers, spices, damp soil, sexy oak and minerals. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and excellent class. The long finish features sophisticated tannins and very good balance.

March 10, 2017 - La Paulée de New York: Vertical Tasting (Rainbow Room - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Perfumed start with red and black berries throughout, complemented with licorice, cloves and cinnamon. Starts out lush and powerful, finishes with perfect elegance. Very tasty already, this has the hallmarks of a 94-95 point wine with some time in the cellar. I wish I bought more than 1 bottle at release.

July 2, 2013 - Day Two in Burgundy: Ponsot, JJ Confuron, Vogue, Mugneret-Gibourg (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at domaine. All red fruit with great spice. Strawberry, red cherry, anise, soy all come through. Super elegant start, picking up weight, density and power from middle to finish, showing lots of grand Cru intensity at end.
