  February 27, 2023 - The nose is very nice with dark fruit and sous-bois, although there is a hint of greenness. In the mouth, this is just a bit thin, even for an ethereal Chambolle. Tannins are nearly dissolved. Overall there is nice complexity, nice fruit, a classic nose, good length, it just lacks a little bit of weight for a 1er Cru.
  Time to drink up.

  March 15, 2021 - Dark cherry red with pink rim. Medium intensive nose of fresh red and blue berries, some pepper/spice and wet stone. In the mouth medium to light bodied, sweet fruit, silky tannins, a nice touch of minerality and vibrancy. There is an impressive sneaky length to the flavours. The only snag is, that to me this lacks a bit of power. Complexity, Chambolle charme, all is there, but so discreet, that it becomes difficult to stand up even to grilled fish. Curious to taste another vintage of this wine!

  February 20, 2014 - MASTER BORGOGNA AIS; 10/15/2013-6/28/2014 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Vigne del 1939. 50% legno nuovo. 100% diraspato
  Naso fortissimo, bouquet di fiore su parquet di buccia di mandarino.
  In bocca è un tripudio di karkadè, the rosso e caramella gelée.
  Vino molto sorridente ed equilibrato, pronto da bere
  Manca di complessità,spinta acida, di un allungo finale.
