  January 15, 2007 - A charming, rustic wine. Some pleasant green to go with subtle strawberry notes. Serious and a bit restrained, and a very versatile food wine that would pair with just about anything roasted, grilled or stewed. Maybe a touch thinner than ideal, but a really, really nice example of this varietal. Decent, if not great, QPR at $22.

  September 3, 2006 - Paumanok and Lenz (LI): if you love cab franc you must try this, green pepper notes but without being overly vegetal, light body, long finish. red berries, good tannins on the finish.

  July 4, 2006 - Paumanok visit (LI): much better oak balance, nice light wine, good tannins, bell pepper present (as it should be) but in a good way, delicious wine that i would take over most simmilarly priced Loir reds
