October 14, 2023 - Nick A's Burgundy Series, 2011 Edition, kids table: Perky, expressive nose. Some apple - not sour, not over ripe - in the middle. On the palate - leaning towards the ripe. Enjoyable now but I suspect that if you got 'em, now is the time to drink 'em.

October 12, 2023 - Nick's 2011 Burgundies (Noizé): Very fine mousse, really great. Sourdough bread and bruised ripe apples that also retain crispness, but any sweetness is replaced by a sherried note on the palate. It isn’t oxidised per se, but that could be where it is headed so not one to keep. It’s quite sour which makes it very refreshing, but perhaps not a quaffer because of this.

October 12, 2023 - Nick A's 2011 Burgundy Horizontal (Table 2) (Noizé, London): Nose that hints strongly at the low dosage of this wine, there is some cut Cox apple and a little quinine. Palate is dry and refined, right at the finish there is a little mandarin segment. Pure Meunier and an enjoyable and cerebral start to proceedings.

September 21, 2021 - BWC X1 Dinner - Hawksmoor: According to our host - 100% pinot meunier. Pale straw colour. Bit of green apple on the palate. Very pleasant start to proceedings.

September 6, 2017 - I really enjoyed this. Straw yellow, with just hints of pink hue. Very expressive nose of various fruits (pears, maybe some apricots, apple) and flowers. Super bright on the palate, a myriad of fruit flavors, and a long warming finish (not heat by any means, just a nice warmth) only marred a tiny bit by a slightly too tart intrusion.
