Deilig vin santo.

June 16, 2017 - Half the grapes sun dried and half dried in the shade so that more fresh fruit character is preserved.
The smell is wonderful: cedar, pine, woody notes, raisins and dried orange s
Full bodied, sweet but so much acidity that it's amazingly drinkable, burnt orange flavours, seville orange and a long creamy finish
This is stunning. So rich but fresh and delicious., Impossible to spit this one

May 1, 2017 - Wine tasting in Greece; 4/28/2017-5/6/2017 (Athens, Santorini and Porto Heli): Tasting visit to Gaia winery. Wow these Santorini Vinsantos are really tasty. Color is dark brown cola. On the nose lots going on - caramel, honey, floral and herbal. On the palate sweetbut loads of acid to keep it balanced, toasted nuts, caramel, lemon, some coffee on the finish. Just a bit of heat from the alcohol on the finish. Really delicious.

January 21, 2017 - Dark brown in colour, dense yet glossy wine. Rich, nutty, light raisin feel intermixed with chocolate feel and we guess a bit of new oak was used here in its 10yrs of barrel ageing. Rich yet supple on the palate, well round and inviting, touch of oxidation. Very solid 91
