June 17, 2023 - Very fine again. Clean on the palate again, with excellent balance and notes of blackberry, blueberry and sounds.

January 14, 2023 - Outstanding, clean with no funk. Superb balance, with good tension. Notes of fruit forward strawberry and all spice. Medium finish. 92-93.

October 12, 2019 - Love this nose of black cherry that is laced with earthy funky notes. The palate has terrific richness and near Grand Cru concentration. So meaty, funky, herby in an attractive way. Precise finish. Classic.

October 12, 2019 - Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind Burgundy (Chevalier Fine Wines - Chicago IL): Small glass, tasted blind. More red vs black cherry with lots of savory spice, some braised meat. I thought this Grand Cru based on its density and complexity. Very good length as well. I haven't had this wine in a decade and enjoyed it as much today as back then.

September 17, 2019 - Showing beautifully. Still some dark red fruit on the nose but complemented by baking spices and earthy notes. Medium weight palate, very dry, more fruit, earth, minerals. Great balance and persistence. Secondary emerging and wide open.
