    April 23, 2022 - Great fruit stilll!
Lovely texture and a spicy finish.
    Patience rewarded!

July 19, 2021 - Still dark and opaque. Moderate intensity nose, typical dark fruit and smoke syrah aromas. Has softened, but one dimensional. Nice, but time to drink up.

November 8, 2020 - very dark red, almost black - huge nose of raspberries, raspberries, raspberries (purposeful epizeuxis!) - same fruit in the mouth with a big full body with bright acidity and mature tannins - 20-30 sec finish - a beautiful example of an Aussie fruit bomb that has matured into an elegant but still very powerful syrah - compared to the 2002 Clarendon Hills Syrah tasted at the same time, less complexity but much bigger and brighter fruit

June 30, 2020 - Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Initially gamey, slightly oxidised then toast, coffee, black pepper and spiced blackberry, leather, earth. Juicy, savoury, blackberry, black pepper, black tea, softly tannic. Pleasing.

March 21, 2020 - Still dark and opaque. Moderate intensity nose, typical dark fruit and smoke syrah aromas. Has softened, but one dimensional. Nice, but time to drink up.
