August 5, 2020 - Medium ruby. Very open nose of pungent raspberry, plum pits, soil, and underbrush. Fresh, tart red raspberry, cherry, and hints of plum on the layered palate. Almost spritzy acidity countering still-firm tannin. Long finish of pure red fruit, bramble, and stone. Primary but balanced, this has a long life ahead.

July 1, 2018 - WX Blind Pinot Noir Tasting (Danny Aliaga's House): Lovely showing here. Group WOTN actually! (Amongst the Pinots at least)
Spicy fruit. Some nice Old World elements. Floral nose. Very nice savory notes too.

March 4, 2018 - 2007 ANTHILL FARMS PETERS VINEYARD SONOMA COAST PINOT NOIR- mushrooms and earth dominate the aromatics and in time, fade just enough to allow for dried, musty dark fruit to appear; I know this has a high pedigree, but have to think this bottle was not representative of its best efforts.

January 27, 2018 - Excellent. Balanced, restrained fruit, harmony. For new world pinot, this is near the top for me.

May 13, 2017 - Wonderful. Macerated strawberries, pipe tobacco, orange peel. Smooth, elegant, graceful. Very good with salmon and kale salad.
