  June 10, 2011 - Fantastic wine and a great value. Beautiful aroma of berries and vanilla. Nice burgundy color. Deep and rich flavors with tons of fruit and excellent balance. All in all, a great effort.

  November 14, 2009 - Chicago Pinot Days-2009 (Navy Pier, Chicago IL): nose: nice creamy nose of red fruits, dark cherries, some spice tones and bits of florals. Very good tones, but lacking some depth
  
  taste: medium/fuller bodied with dark tones of cherries, dark spices, and blackberries. A bit rough with a touch of heat as well
  
  overall: needs a bit of time to come together more. There is good balance and it has good fruit to it, but seems a bit rough around the edges right now

  November 13, 2009 - Pinot Days 2009 (Navy Pier - Chicago, IL): Nice earthy aromas. Really nice Old World funk.
  Light spicy strawberry with white pepper play and some light crushed rock.
  Palate is silky smooth with not a hint of austerity. Lovely.
