September 20, 2023 - Glowing orange-red under the light. Tons of dust, burnt orange, and strawberry on the delicious nose. Intense notes of fresh-squeezed orange juice, and raspberries dominate. This is wine at its zenith, absolutely perfection for Chateauneuf .

December 2, 2014 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Bin 75): Cloudy dull brick, looks muddy, aged brownish rim; candy cane, spice, pepper, raspberry, light cherry, aged, cranberry; aged and smooth palate, still fresh, sour red fruit finish, olive brine, hard red fruit, some green character, stony; still good but faded after an hour of being open.

This wine is in it's prime and ready to go.
    30min decant (sediment avoid)

December 21, 2013 - Delightful, aged CdP. My information suggested that I should have drunk this bottle by 2004. If it peaked back then, it's been on a wonderful plateau for almost ten years. Although it's tannins are fully integrated, the wine remains bright and commanding - sweet cherries, light dust, medium bodied pleasantness.
