2016 Château Lilian Ladouys

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

90 Points

Sunday, December 4, 2022 - Drinking perfectly now, although needs several hours breathing to optimize. The Cab seemed the star and standout, even though only 32% of the blend. Year after year, although mass-produced, great QPR for those taken aback by high Bordeaux and Napa prices. Probably at its best between now and end of year 2023. Perfect wine for a grilled steak. Torn between a 90 and 91, went with 90.

12/4/2022 2:09:00 PM - Thanks for the note - great to know that they are drinking well now! Having said that, I agree with Wine guy del mar. Based on my history with previous vintages of this wine I would expect it to improve for the next 5 years and remain there for at least another 5 years if not longer. Having said that, I have 12 bottles and will probably start to drink them in the net few years.
