Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - Drank this tonight as a vertical 2006, 2009 & 2016. All three opened with a similiar nose. The 06 and 09 were great from the start and the 09 kept getting better and better as the night went on. It took the 16 about 3 hours to come around and is going to be great someday, it still needs 4-6 years to really hit its stride. The 06 after an hour was spectacular, just not quite as good as the other two. Definitely worth drinking now if you’re holding bottles.

Trying desperately not to buy more en-primeur claret the prime drinking window for which I would not expect to get to enjoy ! LOL
