Saturday, November 9, 2019 - Initially a bit of funk on the nose, red fruited nose of red cherry, and some vegetal notes. Flavors of strawberry, red cherry, and some slight vegetal notes. After about an hour start to get notes of pencil shavings. Wine tastes ever so slightly past it’s prime, but still enjoyable, no tannins, mild to moderate acidity, short finish. Paired well with strip steak.
