Saturday, October 31, 2020 - Been a while since I open a special wine. Decant for an hour initially but not opened up fully. Left it for another 2 hour and the true potential started to reveal itself. First sniff reveal a complex note, with dark fruit, cherries, oak, vanilla, herbs, tobacco and leather. Some slight hint of forest and stone follow suit. Multiple structure layer with well balanced of acidity and alcohol. On a high tannin side though which I believe it will taste even better with at least 3 years of storage.
Now to get more of these...
