Saturday, November 4, 2023 - Whiplash from the Spanna. Gushing and open and sweet and floral. Classic Fourrier herbal and green. Dark berries. Blackberry and raspberry. Violets deep and almost inky. Young and spicy on the palate. Dark fruit and spicy and sweet fruit. Crisp and lovely and perfumed. Spicy and a little vegetal and also sweet on the finish. Maybe a little sour in finish but with nice sweetness and complexity. This was classic 2010 and Fourrier but it was just a little too green and sour to be just what I wanted. Nose: 5-5.5/6, Palate: 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15.5-16.5/20.
