Wednesday, January 20, 2021 - A lovely wine in a youthful way but agree with some comments here that it feels a bit "lite". That's not necessarily a bad thing for a Burgundy for me. Red fruits, has the Fourrier fizziness from unresolved CO2 in its youth which is best dealt with a quick double decant which is when you actually can hear the wine "sparkle". Gone through 5 of my 6 pack over the last months as easy home quaffer and it does a very good job at that. However in context of other lower level 17s it's not totally convincing (felt like Cathiard 17 Bourgogne was better even, Hudelot Noellat Bourgogne and Charmes on same level and better respectively) and it just misses bit of ooomph.
