Monday, February 8, 2010 - Truly spectacular on opening. Light golden color with the slightest haze. Opening nose redolent of lemon curd, butterscotch and pear. Thirty minutes in the glass and the nose closed down, but in the mouth acidity balanced with oak, lemon, pear, peach and vanilla. Surprisingly short on the finish which is why I cannot rate it higher. Incidenally, an hour and a half later a half glass fills the room with the smell of lemon and flowers. Very good stuff.
