Dark emerald robe. Prunes, cherries, raspberries. A hint of leather, and nice oak. Attack was fruity, slightly sweet, medium acid, well rounded tannins on the finish. Well balanced Bordeaux.

As usual scored on what I tasted rather than it's potential. Black fruit, bright acidity, chewy tannins and savoury palate. This will be very good but needs time, it's only a youngster and will improve over the next ten years.

UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2010 (Brussels): For me personally this was a pleasant surprise. Classical bouquet with ripe dark forest fruits, graphite and also some smoke. On the palate the same impressions. Good acidity, some sweetness and a long finish.

Nice typical Bordeaux wine. In a good place now. Cherries, blackberries, cassis, good minerality and very well balanced.

MW Institute 2010 Bordeaux Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Cherry and graphite. Mineral palate, with decent length to it. Not for those that want Bordeaux with a lot of body or imposing structure.

Light in the nose and body, with some red berries, spice, coffee bean and a soft textured, oaky finish.

Dominated by wood, particularly on the finish. Ungainly, rustic, soft, should be ok in time but will never be fine or even worthwhile.

Very lifted but slightly animal on the nose; a bit dusty on the palate with drying tannins. 85-88
