I still have some bottles left from this moderate priced bordeaux and I just opend one of them last night. The status was better then expected, straigh from the beginning fresh with tones of blueberry and cherry and well developed. After 1 houre in the decanter it was even better, deeper with a typical bordeaux taste. Very good price / quality level and no rush to finalize the stock. I guess good to drink until 2025.

Standard CB 2010 - quite plush, with spicy fruit and high acidity which helps to balance the 14°. Mainly dark cherry with hints of blackcurrant, but mine was still quite youthful and spritely, so it should improve further and certainly not decline. Not the best I've had, but well worth the 10€ paid in 2013.

Colour is deep ruby. Nose is of light to medium intensity, with red currants, plums and cherries, backed by light tobacco and cedary oak. The palate is savoury and earthy, with understated black fruits and green capisicum. Medium bodied, low tannin, low acidity and medium alcohol. The finish is short, except for a lingering underripe aspect, and some mild alcoholic heat. Not a cellaring style. Drink over the next 1-3 years. All in all disappointing.

Blueberry, black currants, earth. Ripe and sudden on the attack, tapering off slowly into a clipped/short finish. If the finish was longer, this would be really good; nevertheless, very enjoyable. Drink up. Crazy good QPR.

Mørk raud på farge. Luktar mykje treverk og lakris. Flotte taninar og fin syre. Passar som hand i hanske til ein blodig entrecôte. Ville ikkje vore bekymra for alderen, men hugs å ta den opp ei god stund før konsumering, mykje sediment i flaska.

Last one in the cellar and tonight with a NY steak it is wonderful. Still has assertive tannins but that really works with a rare steak Pittsburg style. The real sales point is the nose, it is extremely expressive and yells Bordeaux. Wish I had more
Nice claret that hit the spot on a Friday night. Not overpowering but not faint of heart either, good tannin structure and the flavors are somewhat complex mostly cassis and plum. I would say this has hit its aging potential and I marked my other bottle to be served within the year.

The score is for day two. The wine has really potential. Day 1 - boring. Day 2 - opened up with nice rose and cedar nose. Good body and structure. I will buy some more bottles and keep them for 3-5 year. I can''t remember experiencing such a transformation from the first day to the next. Impressive!

My first Bordeaux. Deep plum, smooth, medium body. Well structured, light tannin and long finish. Plenty of cellaring left, but very good drinking now.

Medium bodied, deep ruby tone, herbal aromas, medium firm tannic structure, bright and balanced, some subtle cocoa notes with cherry and cassis flavors. Really came together on the second day. Not huge on depth but a nicely made wine at this price.

Has it with a 1979'malescasse. Of course a huge difference, but a fun test. The 10' was better day two. In both aroma and at the palate it was closed. Would be better with time. Would i save a bottle for 31 more years? No. But good for the price. Wait 5-10 years.

Inky Purple, seemingly a bit disjointed, foursquare. Given the vintage a tad disappointing

Lively almost feisty Cru Bourgeois, dark woody fruits if a little foursquare.

Simple, sporting aromas and flavors of black currant, licorice, and couverture. Tannins are mostly resolved, drink now.

Nice and easy going. Sediments suspended in the wine. Ripe cherries, some dark berries, leather. Good value.

Very dark red. Soft silky texture. Blackberry, rose, coffee, chocolate and some ceder dominates. Balanced mouth feel and delicious.

This wine was indeed more expressive the second day therefore highly recommend decanting with aeration for best results, cheers.

Cask sample. A lot of juicy cassis and a lot of good and sticky tannin. Some pleasant sweetness and a good concentration. Good qpr as a future.
