I still have some bottles left from this moderate priced bordeaux and I just opend one of them last night. The status was better then expected, straigh from the beginning fresh with tones of blueberry and cherry and well developed. After 1 houre in the decanter it was even better, deeper with a typical bordeaux taste. Very good price / quality level and no rush to finalize the stock. I guess good to drink until 2025.

Standard CB 2010 - quite plush, with spicy fruit and high acidity which helps to balance the 14°. Mainly dark cherry with hints of blackcurrant, but mine was still quite youthful and spritely, so it should improve further and certainly not decline. Not the best I've had, but well worth the 10€ paid in 2013.

Colour is deep ruby. Nose is of light to medium intensity, with red currants, plums and cherries, backed by light tobacco and cedary oak. The palate is savoury and earthy, with understated black fruits and green capisicum. Medium bodied, low tannin, low acidity and medium alcohol. The finish is short, except for a lingering underripe aspect, and some mild alcoholic heat. Not a cellaring style. Drink over the next 1-3 years. All in all disappointing.
