Birthday Dinner Featuring Bonneau du Martray and the Very Best of Chambolle-Musigny (The Bristol - Chicago IL): In Amoureuses flight, alongside Groffier '10. Black cherries and berries throughout with braised meat spice and rare meat. Big and bold, this goes on and on, but never seems to give us 100% of its full potential. By far the most backward of the flight, needing the most further cellar time, despite having been opened 4+ hours prior with an hour in a decanter. I will hold my remaining bottles until 2030 or later.

Tight, even after two hours decant. Tasted along with 09. 09 was better this day (97 pts vs. 96). The nose and sweetness of the fruit in the 2009 was better. The 2010 had great structure and tannins, which in my opinion will help it be a better wine in 5-10 years.

This needs quite a lot of time. Opened our bottle at 19.00 and finished our dinner at 24.00 and this wine kept developing the whole time. Light, everything in place, extemerly balanced and very good, but maybe missing that "wow-feeling".

Right away the nose pulls you in. Tons of rich cherry stone, raspberry liquor and meaty earth. Sixty second long finish. This is an acid lovers wet dream. I can't wait to retry this in ten years.

Wow wine for sure! Such purity and poise combined with huge intensity and the signature never-ending finish of the great Vogue's. Still very tight in the mouth though. Screamingly good and should only improve for the next twenty years! 96++

Much higher score that BH, I know...but this wine has it all. I tasted in barrel and loved it and now in bottle it does not disappoint. Intense raspberry notes, very primary as one would expect. Such balance of fruit, acid and tannin. Silk in the glass...What potential!
Comte George de Vogüé - 2010, Stockholm (Grappe): A wine, as young as this, and scoring the perfect score? Yes, I can’t give it anything less , since this is perfection in a bottle. This could be the best wine I have ever had. (and ever will?) Light red. The breathtaking nose is just so amazingly pure, filled with Les Amoureuses terroir crushed rocks and minerals, orange peel, flowers and cherries. Such a soft and gentle feminine wine this is! It oozes with sensuality and pure sex. This is a perfect specimen, everything is already in perfect balance in this wine, with the acidity and fruit (the most beautiful Pinot young cherries and cleanest raspberries ever experienced!) together with the minerallity just knitting this wine together to a perfect woven masterpiece. This is so beautiful, I even sheered a tear when first smelled it. The word perfection is the only way to describe this. 100 points!

Domaine Tasting at Comte de Vogue (Burgundy, France): From barrel at the Domaine. Wine was going through malo. Ruby red color. Bright red fruits - raspberry and pomegranate. Freshly crushed rocks. Touches of pepper and orange peel. Great potential.

Nose more seductive than the 2011. Sweeter fruit but very restrained and structured. Silky and long. 2024+
