Light gold in color. Initial funk blows off to reveals classy burgundy aromas of buttered and poached pears, lemon curd, nut oils and hint of truffle and wet soil. A round and spherical palate follows through with good depth to the sweet yellow orchard and citrus fruits, toasted brioche, medium (+) acidity, and a long, nutty and viscous finish laden with minerals.

Pale yellow color. The wine takes about an hour to come around. Scents of lemon oil, poached pears, toast and liquefied minerals fill the nose. The palate is broad, lush and silky with good depth of lemon curd, buttered pears on a long toasty and minerally finish. Very nice.

Pears and other mild fruit flavors on the nose. Better after being open for 1.5 hours. Wonderful wine.
