Aged so the oxidation shows light almond and caramel in the base Pinot Gris; smooth middle and an almost slick softness in the finish. Overall different than most people think of a Pino Gris, but good in a different way.

- Light gold color. It's in total harmony with a light body. Juicy texture with a long finish - Excellent fun to drink wine. We really like king Estates. This had a great fruit forward but not too tart,a nice dry finish that lasted

Great QPR. Apple and hineysuckle nose with some faint mineral undertones. Just a bit off dry with pear and apple flavors balanced with some acid. Very pleasant.

Thought I had taken notes when we opened this a couple of days ago, but the bottle is now dry:-( great wine-dry with apples and great balance. This is an outstanding Pinot Gris at a great price.

Tasted at Brix Midtown Crossing in Omaha. Nose: Medium expressiveness, white flowers, earth, and lemon. Palate: Medium bodied, sweet citrus fruit attack, creamy mouth-feel, zesty mid-palate. Finish: Medium length dominated by zesty citrus flavors.

Not bad for a $13 impulse buy at Costco. I’ve had better (honestly, much better) Oregon Pinot Gris — this one is channeling a bit too much Italian style for me, but it’ll work for Wednesday. Very light in style, it’s loaded with acidity, but manages to hang-on to balance. Salud!

Normally, King Estate Pinot Gris is one of my "go-to" white wines. This was our first 2011 vintage, and we weren't that excited about it. It was good, but not the usual exceptional we expect from King Estate Pinot Gris. The bouquet was light, but the taste and mouthfeel just okay.

Excellent Pinot Gris that is more in the herbal, mineral Italian style, rather than the more Alsatian style that is prevalent in New Zealand. Bone dry, mineral and herbal - this is refreshing and has fine acid balance and a nice lingering finish. Was excellent with roasted salmon and vegetables.

This wine has been a favorite of mine for 5-6 years but the 2011 is easily the least drinkable. It taste more like a sauvignon blanc with a extra dose of sugar.

Always a very good sipper that goes well with d'horverves, snacks or on its own. One of the better and more consistent Pinot Gris producers in Oregon from year to year. Salty minerality, crisp citrus, and a nice finish.

Bright, clear, light straw color. Aromas of pear, stone fruit and some faint tangerine, with some minerality in the background. Medium mouthfeel displaying flavors of juicy pear and stony peach underscored with some saltiness on the finish. This will work well with a assortment of cheeses, baked seafood, broiled shellfish, or a hearty salad. Consistent producer style from year to year. A solid and enjoyable Pinot Gris.

Polished off with sushi - just a bit on the sweet side for this pairing. But by itself it has light and lingering tropical notes.

Very predictable King Estate pinot gris, which means is very good and drinkable. A very good buy at $12.

Fresh and floral, it is crisp and tart in the mouth. At 13% alcohol it has a nice level of ripe flavors balanced with its acid.
