Tasted blind. Rose petals and blood on the nose. It kept changing on the glass by it not on a good way. Became metallic with air - I think it’s on a weird place right now, I’d wait a decade.

Accomasso Tasting plus some great Barolo Pirates (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines tasted blind *** Glass: Zwiesel 1872 Moment Pinot Clean, medium ruby-garnet color. Clean, classic Barolo nose, very deep, smoky and complex. Wonderful structure and texture. Very pure and clean. Juicy and elegant, wonderful balance. Very long and lingering. Still painfully young. 94-95+

PnP. Mature brick red, 4. Wonderful mature classic complex bouquet, forest floor, dried roses, Harmonious palate, still some tannin but in fine balance with the fruity elements, long finish. Drink now-2025.

Encore tout jeune, ce barolo est un peu acide et il a le corps d'un nebbiolo classique. En bouche on a des fleurs, mais très discrètes, des fruits frais, de la réglisse et aucun bois. Belle découverte !
3,5/5

Not easy to find these wines in the US. AG does not review them. He finds that they are not well made. I can't speak to the cellar conditions or winemaking, but the results are more interesting and impressive than I might have thought from AG's views of the wines. Too young and slow o'd for 4 hours, the wine is soft ruby in color, with a classic Barolo nose and profile: sour cherry, some spice mixed with earth and tobacco and tar. Needs a decade, and should improve with time.
Light garnet red, with orange hues. Popped and poured straight from the cellar, then followed over two days. First impressions: classic nebbiolo nose, powerful and elegant. Same on the palate with quite strong and fine-grained tannins - somewhat drying on the finish.
Later impressions: on the nose tobacco, licorice, old leather. Also balsamic notes and some fresh red berries in the background. It kept changing, also depending on the temperature. Sometime more earthy, tarry and spicy, sometime more airy and balsamic. On the palate it starts fresh and juicy (with blood oranges clearly emerging on day 2), but it also has deeper tones (licorice and some earth). It has a grainy structure. Somewhat drying on the finish and bitter too. Quite fine, but it should improve. ***

Slightly past peak with some oxide notes and thin fruit. Nice acidity and still drinkable. Beautiful colour with orange rim.
