Two and a half hour decant time, this is a big, robust malbec that carries chocolate, blackberry and red licorice in both the nose and the palate. Moderate tannins hold up the big body of this wine well, with a long finish with every sip.

Dinner at Rustique in Aspen, thanks to Shawn the sommelier. A very good modern wine, rich and well balanced with a deep mineral chocolate follow through.

Decanted for 90 minutes. Drank with a spicy pork tenderloin. It was an excellent pairing. Bold wine, excellent nose, very good. One of the better Argentinian wines I've had. Will definitely purchase more.

South or Sweet (Q2 wine party) (The Apartment): (Wine #8 - South America) Heavy blackberry, very young tasting, strong tannins, needs some more years to settle down (or maybe just a few hours in a decanter).

This may be the darkest wine I ever saw. Essentially dark purple opaque. Good legs. Not vey aromatic. Flavor of red and black plums. Soft integrated tannins good new world/international styled wine. Nice long raisiny finish. Would be lovely with a steak. And nice by itself. But not IMO what it could be.

Loved this wine! Fantastic nose that is so inviting with slight earth intertwined with dark berry. Smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with incredible balance. Layers of flavor with hints of herb and plum with mature tannins. Herbal finish leaving you wanting more.

Brilliant color in good sunlight. Ruby leaning to purple. It's Malbec all the way on the nose. Very plummy and woody. Plum and black/blue berry skin, along with rich wood, some earth, char and iron aromas. Richly aromatic fruit with crushed, macerated and liquered blackberry, boysenberry, blueberry and marionberry. Rich and thick on the palate and very dark. Toasty, charred wood leads with notes of flinty, iron minerality. It's fleshy and concentrated and possesses nice acid to balance heavy tannin. New leather nuances with black and purple plum, blackberry, blueberry and other dark purple fruits. Some black pepper notes as well. It's a dense, powerful and dry wine. Calls for food, so I shall make a sirloin now.

Purchased at a restaurant. Decanted about 15 minutes and a good Malbec maybe with too much vanilla oak flavors. Heavy weight.
