A very upfront taste that is forward, lush, mouth watering, and refreshingly acidic, capped by a deliciously fruity black cherry and wild blueberry. that hangs in the mouth and throat for minutes after the swallow. Superb value at $22.

This generic Santa Rita Hills blend is the fantastic value in the Siduri portfolio, that is better that most of the much more expensive single vineyard Pinot Noirs from that same appellation. Blackly opaque, effusively aromatic, hugely rich, lushly textured, deliciously enjoyable young, and beautifully ages and improves for a decade. Overall, one of the most reliably great Pinots that Siduri makes, that deserves to be bought by the case.

Cherry, a little leather, and ether on the nose. Extracted fruit, not much mid palate and a medium long, tannic finish. Very masculine and not much complexity. Not a bad pinot, but maybe not worth the price.

Pretty nose of blue/black fruits with dark blackberries in control, and they carry a note of petroleum oil?? Interesting and weird actually. Still very fragrant and the petrol blows off with some swirling. Palate shows macerated black cherries and those pure blackberries, on this round they are pure and precise. Good balance with a nice buoyancy, this seems nicely resolved and very well made. The finish brings just a touch of heat. Overall a nice Pinot Noir from an area I think I know quite well these days. I seemed to have liked it a bit more a few years back, nonetheless for twenty one dollars a nice drink for sure.

initially struck by the high acid and thin fruit; clearly a hot year. Green raspberry/cranberry; taste of bitter , followed by some candied fruit as the other flavors fade; on second day, it was better blend of red fruit with a hint of some leather in the earthiness.

This wine had the fruit-forward profile I was hoping for. It was paid with Teriyaki Baked Salmon with a mild Sriracha Sauce. The wine was very easy drinking.

Siduri makes a very good SRH year after year, and this was no exception. Lush, soft, rich & ripe but also with plenty of structure & grip. Medium body with deep, cherry-dominated flavors long with some spice.

A very nice Pinot for the price ($24 at Total). Bright fruit up front, adequate but not overpowering pucker factor acid and a nice spice to the finish. Drank side by side with Gary Farrell Russian River, and although I am biased to GF and REALLY like their wines, I have to say this Siduri was more enjoyable. Maybe not as complex or smooth, but enjoyable in a casual kind of way.

One of my first Pinots from Santa Rita Hills and I have to say I am impressed. The nose is meaty, with red cherry fruit, brown sugar, mild oak, and even (surprisingly) pencil shavings. The place this wine stands out most is in the mid-palate which blows across the tongue with racy acidity. Fairly long finish. Great qpr like this is never a surprise from siduri

Very consistent style from vintage to vintage - always rich, ripe and concentrated with a medium to full body and s lush, soft mouthfeel. This bottle was no exception. If anything, it seemed even "bigger" to me than other vintages. Cherry, blueberry and bramble with some spice. Nice balance with plenty of grip. I usually prefer a leaner pinot, but this one was simply terrific. 91+

tasted alongside 4 other Siduri appellation pinots at work and this was the standout.
perfect mix of nuanced spice and dense fruit.
chewy body but not lacing acid. sweet silky tannins with a balancing tobacco tang. good finish with a little grip.
deep nose and a matching palate of brambly black cherry and blueberry, indian spices and black pepper. lovely candied red fruit notes are balanced wtih more savory mushroom, flower petal, and rhone like garrigue.
new world fruit with enough nuance and rustic charm to make this standout in a competative market.

It's still a bit young. Its hot and peppery. However great drink ability. Definitely not the sweet syrupy pinots that are prevalent in this price range. Enjoyed this one and will buy more to age a few years.

Popped and poured with grilled burgers. This was initially very hot and nearly undrinkable. After a couple hours, it really developed nicely. Still a big Pinot, with darker fruit, but not any sort of cola in there like some other CA Pinot. I'd recommend giving this at least an hour of air before drinking it now.

Yes, it's dark. I am getting use to this from SRH. Nose is pretty with a black/red fruit profile. I get cherries, pomegranate and boysenberries. Did I say it was pretty? It is. Palate shows a deftness of balance with an almost weightlessness sewn in. Love the bright fruit profile. I get black cherry and black raspberries now. There is much to appreciate. I get an almost spiciness that lays beneath the surface that is real nice. Acidity perfect and tannins lush and profound. This is graceful, poised and polished. An easy drinking wine. Finish long as you want and true to the fruit. Awesome. Great QPR too.

Big rich, dark fruit driven on the nose and palate. Balanced with noticeable tannin on the finish. Great for the price point. Some oak and big concentration. Drinks well now.

Very dark ruby in color, this wine showed intense aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and raspberry as well as heavy Asian spices on the nose. The mouth feel brought smoke, minerals and almost sweet acidity in an enjoyably complex tone. The finish was assertive with the tannins and dark berry fruits coming together seamlessly.
Purchased for $28US, this is a very well made but BIG Pinot Noir. It steamrolled over my GF's whole bronzino at DiMeo's BYOB in Andorra, PA (an excellent restaurant) but paired well with my veal. Recommended with meat, not fish.

Very good with leftover slow cooker pheasant. On the fruity side of Pinot. Cherry and a little cola.

Dense and fruit forward for a pinot. Plenty of cherry. Some blueberry. Lovely herbal notes. Also spices and some tobacco.
Tremendous value. Too bad we do not have more bottles.

Siduri Barrel tasting with Catherine August 2013 (Siduri Winery Santa Rosa): LOVELY wine, dark fruit, wet earth--Nothing not to like about this wine. I really liked the 2011 version, but I think this may be better.
