Well that's an unusual and interesting wine. Had a Munjebel Rosso the other day, but this is our first bianco. The color is a deepish copper to amber color, and there's some particulate, so right off the bat you know you're in for something different here. Smells like lemon, orange, flowers, potpourri, pear, apple, apricot, honeycomb, and chalk. Very alluring nose. Medium (+) body, acid, and finish, with flavors of apple cider, lemon, minerals, earl gray tea, and a bit of floral lift. Some oxidation; not sure if a stylistic choice or not. Rubber closure. Drinks like an aperitif, so enjoying it for the nuance and complexity a bit more post meal. Definitely not for everyone, but interesting for sure. This one's for the geeks. Hard to score, but I'll say 90 pts. for the intrigue and complexity, and it would be a banger score if it was also delicious.

Orange/Rose in color. We really did not get this wine especially having tried and like his reds. Oxidative and difficult to enjoy and more of a statement than an enjoyable wine. One of those wines that people/sommeliers/winemakers try to persuade you is good but really its not. Impossible to enjoy. 80 at best

Decanted for one hour. Orange color, and very cloudy. Special aromas of orange peel, beer, hops, rubber, resin etc. Juicy in the mouth, with a little bitterness in the finish. Some tannins too.

Not at all impressed. Clean, but slightly muted nose with mainly ripe apples, almonds, grappa and yeast. Hard tannins on the palate with a seedy bitterness. Felt disjointed and unbalanced. Also rather problematic that half of the bottle was left with some serious yeast deposits. Bad QPR.

Birthday/Aglianico, 58 Port, ++ (My home): Not sure how to score this, but I did enjoy it. After reading CT notes, I stood this up like a red. When we poured, we were careful not to tilt the bottle back, and it was clear. The re-pours, however, were cloudy. Orange in color. The nose is more about an apple cider than wine. Also some pears and spice. Maybe some orange too. Full bodied. On the palate, this is unique for sure. Spiced. Apples and pears. Nice acidity. The more I drank, the more used to it I got. Really interesting experience although I don't see myself drinking this regularly.

Orange wine, completely opaque in color and clarity. Maybe it was just me but I enjoyed this a lot more 2 years ago. However, plenty going on here with slight oxidized aromas, high acidity, zesty lemon and grapefruit rinds, loads of minerality. After about an hour the aroma turned to dry cigarette tobacco.

A very interesting wine, definitely not for everyone, but quite interesting and tasty if you're up for it. Fermented on the skins the wine has a light orange color and is filled with floating particles. The nose is filled with apricot, pear, peach, and hints of cherry. The palate is mouth filling, unctuous, and yet retains a remarkable freshness that brings you back for more. I quite enjoyed this wine, although I wouldn't mind seeing it fined to remove some of the particulate. Overall quite tasty, intriguing, and a nice wine to talk about in a group.

Less ‘out there’ than previous munjebel bianco. Fresh saline peachskins

Lemon, grapefruit, apple cider. A touch tannic, quite acid. Definitely unique and not for everyone but I like it.

Used socks, bathsoap and female sweat on the nose. Palate is strong but kind of good. Warm. A bit of alkohol shining through, though.

Unlike any other white you will ever drink...not for everybody. So cloudy there is not a shred of clarity. But man, is it intense!

Typical skin-fermented aromas, blood oranges, tangy, well-balanced and delicious.
