Ce vin tient la route de facon étonnante. Des notes similaires à celles écrites en 2017. Pêche à chaire blanche, fleur de trèfle. Superbe structure, longue persistance. Un grand coup de coeur.

Color is golden. On the nose: Minerals, white flowers, orange zest. On the palate: Orange and lemon zest, loads of minerality/salinity, honeysuckle, a bit of beeswax and spice and very nice acidity. Mouthfeel has a great weight to it.

Still drinking great. Can’t imagine this is the peak, which another note said back in 2017! (And now it’s 9 years in!) Orange peel and spices, depth and balance, lots of citrus, ginger, smokey minerals, lots of energy from acidity. So sad that I paid $18 and only bought 3 bottles. This is the last one….

dark golden color. slightly reductive at first, very good minerality, pronounced lemon flavor with good acidity, some lemon curd richness/creamy notes. Really nice and I think drinking at peak now. 92 pts

Un autre coup de coeur ! Apparence jaune paille, limpide.

A stunning effort exhibiting rich citrus, a refreshing impression with seaweed and oysters, but there is also classy yellow ripe colza flower and subtle tropical fruit. Surely this effort has both power and elegance with the latter adding that oohhmpf - the difference between "ok" and "great"... The palate adds nicely to the overall experience with lovely balance and integration. Both the structure and texture tell me this wine will continue to develop for a number of years, but it surely is a treat tonight too. It is actually best described as flirty at present. A perfect food companion to shellfish and lighter meats like poultry.
Tasted in a flight with 2009, 2012 and 2015 Brewer-Clifton S:ta Rita Hills Chardonnay.

This seemed to be in perfect balance and harmony. Fruit, oak and acidity have fully integrated to offer an enjoyable drinking experience. The various components have come together to offer a synergistic end result. Lemon citrus with white stone.

Aroma has vanilla, and the taste has a combo of vanilla and limestone. The finish has an especially lime hint. There is just too much vanilla going on here for my taste, and the combo of flavors just doesn't seem to go too well.

Rich and powerful with great viscosity, yet balanced with appropriate backbone and acidity. Flavors of lemon, pear and hazelnut play nicely with the well integrated creamy oak.

Outstanding Chardonnay. Golden color, full body, long dry finish. Compares well to my favorites (Ramey, Del Dotto).

Drinking well now.
Oak on the nose, but lots of citrus, grapefruit, mineral. Not buttery.

certainly some noticeable oak here, but not too much for an area that I think of as going very light on the oak

I was surprised to see the high grades for this but after tasting it, I can see why. Very refreshing lemony, buttery, lichee fruit.
