92 pts

Some Adventurous Loire Wines (SF Wine Trading Company): Bright yellow. Lots of pear and peach scents. Rich stone fruit, just off dry. Great caressing texture and finishing soil with adequate but not scintillating acidity. Drinking splendidly now. Its shape and length actually remind me of Grand Cru white Burgundy.

Better on day two, by which time it had become well-balanced with a vivid chalkiness. Saltier and somewhat disjointed, but still enjoyable, on day one.

Very seashell and wool. Tangy, tight, soil-driven, and totally dry. Delicious and beautifully made but not on par with the reds. I'm glad they make it, but I wish it were less expensive.

White fruit: apple and pear, peaches, good density and very long, this is an ideal year for the CB blanc.

What a beauty. Fresh and lively with clean and vibrant fruits. Notes of seashell and rocks in the background. My kind of Chenin Blanc.
